The exhibition In perpetuum – die Entwicklung der Körperlichkeit plays with the notions of mutability and variability through a wide range of positions and approaches. Involved in the mediation are forms, subjects and viewpoints as well as the interpretations and associations generated by them, which are bound to change over time. In general, elements and forces move stimulated by attraction, sometimes mutual. While one loses a part, a different one binds to another and thus, transforms, following a law that determines in nature, nothing can exactly be the perfect copy of something else.
Based on this philosophical as well as scientific approach, the artists contribute to exploring the aspects of randomness that are ever recurrent in the cultural progress.
