After the successful solo exhibition Achim Duchow in 2016 in Düsseldorf and the latest Rebel Revolution Rhineland exhibition in Berlin, featuring critical pop-artist movements, SETAREH is now delighted to dive deeper into Achim Duchow's oeuvre with the exhibition 1000 Mountains and Rivers are nothing. Together with Lili Helena Duchow and Barbara Lange-Duchow, we have curated this solo show, which is marked by numerous memorable journeys that inspired the artist's creative process. The exhibition reflects Achim Duchow's impressions during his stays in Japan and Asia between 1979-1993. A selection of paintings, photographs, mixed media works and sculptures will be on display. The exhibition will take place parallel to the book presentation of the newly published catalogue raisonné, which includes the artist's oeuvre.
